ROUGH CUT

Image
During the rough cut i experimented trying to make place a street wear magazine, but after receiving feedback i decided to change it to classe a more luxury high fashion magazine like tatler and vogue.

plans for websites video

Image
This will be the logo for my magazine. I've chosen this due to simplistic nature and it is heavily inspired by VOGUE

Plans for shooting photos

ill have two seperate very different backgrounds: -a more minimalistic one tone background -a range of pieces of grafiti The one tone background has been chosen too draw all attention towards my models fashion and posing while i chose the grafiti pieces to contrast the models style as a form of commentary on how art and fashion are so interlinked. all my models will be wearing formal wear to try and add that upper class feeling to my magazine my models range in diversity for: -race -gender -age

Mood board

Image
My magazine will embody that of a higher class style magazine like tatler (as included in the mood board). my models will be in a range of formal outfits and different poses. I added the picture silk at its usually correlated with a higher level of fashion.

Style magazine that have inspired mine

Image
Tatler is a high fashion style magazine. in this issues front cover showcasing a male model in a very upper class environment and outfit. this embodies the essence of tatler as a very upperclass magazine. the model is posed in a way to exude confidence while looking comfortable, this a purposeful choice to coerce the potential customers into buying the magazine so they could learn or embody how the model looks. They have purposefully lighted the modelina way so he stands out from the more shadow full background and theyve edited the photo in a way to show off the quality of material of the things within the photo. A good use of alliteration with ‘The Rupert Renaissance’. The typograpghy of the stories is very minimalistic but purposefully easy to read.  This is similar to what i want my magazine to do as i aim to model my magazine loosely off of Tatler’s design and messages. VOGUE is one of the highest fashion syle mags on the market. In this issue the model is posed in a way to s...
